Our Concrete Raising Options

We offer two professional solutions for leveling uneven slabs:
Polyurethane Foam Jacking (recommended for long-term results)
Mudjacking (traditional method, lower upfront cost). Our team will recommend the right method based on your property and budget.

Polyurethane Foam Jacking (Our Preferred Method)

With polyurethane foam jacking, we drill small 5/8” holes (about the size of a dime) in your slab, then inject high-density foam underneath. The foam expands, filling voids, stabilizing the soil, and lifting your concrete back into place.

Lightweight and durable: Won’t add stress to soil.
Immediate results: You can use your driveway or patio the same day.
Long-lasting: Resistant to water, erosion, and Michigan freeze/thaw cycles.

Mudjacking - Concrete Raising

Mudjacking

Mudjacking, also known as slabjacking or pressure grouting, is the most cost-effective method to level uneven concrete slabs. The mudjacking process raises concrete slabs by hydraulically pumping grout, a composite of sand-based material and Portland cement, through holes in the slab and lifting the concrete back to level. The composite also hardens the ground underneath to help strengthen below the concrete. Quick and clean, your concrete slab is ready to use again after 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions About Concrete Raising

How long does concrete raising take?

Most projects are completed in just a few hours, and your concrete is ready to use the same day.

Is concrete raising cheaper than replacement?

Yes, on average, concrete raising costs up to 70% less than replacing the slab, and it avoids the mess and downtime of demolition.

What’s the difference between polyurethane foam jacking and mudjacking?

Polyurethane foam is lightweight, durable, and water-resistant, making it ideal for Michigan’s freeze/thaw cycles. Mudjacking uses a heavier slurry mix and can be a lower-cost option, but may not last as long.

How long will raised concrete last?

With proper care, polyurethane foam-raised slabs can last decades, often longer than the original concrete pour.

Will the holes drilled in my concrete be visible?

The dime-sized holes blend in after patching, and in most cases, they’re barely noticeable.

Can you raise concrete in winter?

Yes, but results are best in moderate weather. Freeze/thaw conditions can make scheduling and curing more challenging.
